STEAM Experience Days Activity Highlights

The STEAM Experience Days were successfully held on 4 and 5 September 2025 in the Main School Hall, attracting enthusiastic participation from students from various levels.

Through engaging and hands-on activities, students explored the distinct focus and projects of each STEAM Team. For example, experienced Astronomy Club members hosted four presentation sessions in the planetarium, introducing fascinating celestial phenomena to over 100 students.

In addition, invention exhibits, including the award-winning SMART Wardrobe, IntelliLight (a smart traffic lighting system), the underwater robot for the MATE ROV Competition, and programmed LEGO robots, showcased the innovation and teamwork of the Invention Team, Underwater Robot Team, and LEGO Team. Moreover, students had the opportunity to fly a drone through obstacles and to drive an RC car to race against an AI-assisted RC car capable of autonomous driving. It was observed that students greatly enjoyed both activities.

The smooth running of the event was ensured by the dedication of current STEAM Teams members and staff, who prepared the interactive displays and guided participants throughout. Overall, the STEAM Experience Days provided a lively and inspiring platform that sparked curiosity and encouraged active student participation in STEAM learning.
