World Scholar’s Cup (Global Bangkok Round)
12 students in 4 teams (3 senior and 1 junior teams) joined 2023 World Scholar's Cup Global Round which took place from 24 to 30 August in Bangkok. All four teams are qualified for the Tournament of Champions at Yale University in coming November with their impressive results!
The 4 teams reaped a total of 1 trophy, 51 gold and 27 silver medals. The 3 senior teams ranked 31st, 33rd and 53th respectively out of around 270 teams while the junior ranked 110th out of more than 500 teams from more than 30 countries.
One senior student ranked the 21st out of more than 800 scholars and was awarded the best scholar from the HK region. One senior team attained 3rd in the Scholar's Bowl event. Medals were won in Debates, Collaborative Writing as well as Scholar’s Challenge, proving that our students are well-rounded scholars with competitive language skills and genuine passion in knowledge pursuit!
