Despite the size of only 1,104 km2, Hong Kong boasts great geodiversity and biodiversity. To broaden students’ horizons on the characteristics of various types of landform features in Hong Kong, Geography Department organized a field trip activity to a GeoPark on Sharp Island and Yim Tin Tsai on January 20, 2017. Over 30 participants were able to explore various coastal landforms (e.g. beach and tombolo) as well as primary industry of Hong Kong. We all had a wonderful and illuminating day.
