Curriculum

We offer comprehensive curriculum to cater for different personal, academic and developmental needs of students. The curriculum design facilitates further studies, careers development and life - long learning. Our curriculum prepares students to sit for the HKDSE examination.

To respond to intensive external changes and work in line with the senior secondary curriculum reform, we are committed to integrating 4C elements, i.e. Creativity, Critical thinking, Communication Skills, and Current Issues, across all subject curricula. Students can have generic skills and active learning attitude cultivated for challenges in the future.

To enhance bilingual and triliterate competency of students, English is the medium of instruction of most subjects. Chinese lessons in junior secondary levels are conducted in Putonghua. The subjects GCSE Chinese and French are offered to students as elective subjects.

Besides, we encourage our students to take part in external competitions in writing, drama, debate, verse speaking and storytelling. We also launch a variety of language-related programmes throughout the academic year. For instance, language weeks, English drama performance, English Musical, lunchtime forum, storytelling sessions are vibrantly carried out for motivating students to learn languages, and enriching their language skills.

To further uphold our language policy, English and Putonghua have been made official languages in our school. Students are required to communicate with teachers in English or Putonghua in school.

We have a number of award schemes and exchange programs to Singapore, new Zealand and China. Recognition is given to students with academic achievements, good conduct, active participation as well as outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities and community services.
