Objectives
Aims:
  • To establish a good connection between our school and China
  • To enhance teachers’ and students’ understanding of our country.
  • To develop national identity and to encourage school members to commit themselves towards the betterment of our country.
  • To provide a channel for students’ personal development
Objective
  • To involve students in organizing activities
  • To enhance students’ and teachers’ understanding about current situation of our country
  • To help students have self-reflection and construct a new set of valuation
  • To provide our students with affective education
  • To raise fund for establishing a teaching building named after our school for local primary education in  Le’chang of Shaoguan
 
Structure
  1. Core committee members: Mr. Lam Cho Hon (Committee Head), Mr.Tong Chi Man
  2. Associate team members (teachers and students):  To be recruited at the beginning of the school year
 
Implementation Plan

By late August 201l:  

  • Contact different agents
  • Make appointment with Life Education to reserve 2 lessons for post-trip sharing programme

September 2011

  • Promotion in morning assembly

Mid-October 2011

  • Interview student applicants
  • Recruit teacher participants

Early November 2011

  • Announce results of application

  • 1st General Meeting

  • Prepare donation campaign
  • Confirm groupings and duty list for students

January before Lunar New Year 2012

  • Appeal for and collect donation of suitable items and money

  • Exhibition, workshop, lesson planning
  • (Workshops include briefing, counseling, sharing and project presentation)

  • Workshop and lesson planning

April 2012 (4 days and 3 nights)

Evaluation Methodology

    • Collecting comments from the Principal, teachers, the agent, parents and students
    • Comparing our objectives with our actual schedule and programme
    • Finding out reasons for any discrepancies and ways for rectification
    • Conducting regular evaluation to ensure a good communication between teachers and students
    • Monitoring students closely work to make sure that they are on the right track
