Implementation Plan
  • Participation

All students are required to participate at least ONCE every year.

  • Records

All records will be indicated in the Non-academic report.

  • Activity

Community service ranges from elementary services to comprehensive interactive services that require advanced interpersonal skills. Relevant training sessions will be provided for activities which involve higher techniques or specific command skills.

F.1 and F.2

    • To develop students’ interest through experiential community service, and to nurture the attitude of cooperation
    •  F.1: Senior Citizen (Dec 16 – Feb 10)
    •  F.2: Newly Arrived Children (Nov 11 – Jan 20)

F.3 to F.5

  • To fully develop students’ potential (e.g. program planning and organization skills),  strengthen students’ confidence and to enhance students’ communication and co-operation skills
  • F.3: Elderly living alone (Mar12 – May 11)
  • F.4: Physically-handicapped children and youth (Feb 10 – Apr 20)
  • F.5: Mentally-retarded people (Jan 17 – Mar 23)

F.6 to F.7

  • To enhance students’ understanding towards the needs and situation of the deprived group in Hong Kong, to make students reflect on current issues and phenomenon in the society and to encourage them to show more awareness and concern towards the society
  • F.6: Visual / Hearing Impairment people (Oct 11 – Dec 16)
  • F.7: Deprived Family (Sept 12 – Nov 11)

Community Service Team

    • Students are required to enroll through intranet as their ECA. Training sessions and tailor-made activities will be provided to brief general knowledge, develop students’ potential and foster their growth. Community services will then be arranged.
