To groom high achievers to get distinction:

  • Cultivate reading habit by placing useful references and practice books available in class library
  • Identify high-achievers and give them more chances to take part in external activities and competitions
  • Teach basic project learning skills
  • Conduct extensive past paper drilling for senior forms.

To help low achievers to at least get a pass:

  • Better streaming of students with different abilities
  • Conduct frequent dictations and quizzes
  • Ensure their basic grammatical accuracy in writing and speaking
  • Construct remedial packages and prepare a detailed and systematic revision booklet for external exam
  1. To enrich EMI environment
  • Teachers should strictly use English as MOI in class and flexibilities should be given to low achievers
  • Teachers should spend time on helping students to learn subject-specific words
  • Teachers should request students to ask again in English when students use Cantonese to ask questions
  • Students are encouraged to use English to communicate on the campus through joining various EMI activities
  • School will provide award scheme for students who speak good English both in class and on the campus.
