Evaluation

Students’ participation

  • Generally the participation rates are satisfactory for both terms. However, the participation rates are somehow unevenly distributed across some classes. It is suggested that more promotions would be implemented.  Class teacher’s encouragement will play an important role in this scheme.

Mid-Term Prize Giving Ceremony

  • For the prize giving arrangement, the prize giving ceremony would be scheduled twice a year.
  • Furthermore, in order to arouse the interest of student, a new award called ‘ The Highest Participation Class’ award is presented at the Year End Ceremony. The winners are 3A (junior) and 6A( senior).

Minor merits giving

  • In order to encourage students to participate in the scheme, we award students a minor merit if they can achieve the bronze award or above; students responded very well with such positive reinforcement.

Promotion for the programme

  • This year different ways of promotions have been taken place, such as PowerPoint promotion during morning assembly, board display and email reminding the fore-coming deadline. We also released the participation statistics of different classes in the staff meeting. Class teachers could have a more holistic view and help to encourage their classes to take part more actively. The feedbacks are positive and we will keep similar strategies for the coming year.

Book Coupon is to be given instead of cash

  • This year, two students got the diamond award in the 1st term and one student got the diamond award in the 2nd term. For the whole year, 270 and 225 coupons were given to students for the 1st and 2nd term respectively.

Reservation for the Bilingual Booklet

  • Bilingual Booklet will be reserved since it can help students to understand the scheme better and encourage more participation. The Bilingual version will be given to ALL forms in order to make the scheme more standardized and fair.
