Visit from Singapore National Police Cadet Corps

Posted on:2012/12/18

“We don't share blood, but we share the air that keeps us alive”. This quote echoes the first ever visit from 36 uniform team members of Singapore New Town Secondary School  in early December. With the same enthusiasm for uniform teams, students and teachers of PLK Ngan Po Ling College and Singapore New Town Secondary School mingled well in the first meeting, despite different cultures and languages.

To kick-start the event, uniform team members of Ngan Po Ling College, including Scout, Air Cadet, Red Cross, Girl Guide and Junior Police Leader Corps, introduced the history and cultures of different teams in Hong Kong, in hopes of showing a general picture to their counterparts in Singapore. The highlight of the event was the energetic freestyle foot drill performed by the National Police Cadet Corps and Scout members from Singapore.

This visit has created an invaluable opportunity for uniform team members of Singapore and Hong Kong, who share common passion and interest, to get to know more about the cultures of different parts of the globe. Though we don’t share blood, but we share the determination to serve our teams, communities and countries.
