- To equip students with meaningful knowledge so as to arouse their interest in and awareness of their society, and their nation, the human world and the physical environment.
- To develop students’ learning skills in managing information, manipulating data in written form (articles, news commentary, books, etc.) and non-written form (graphics, video, statistic, etc)
- To cultivate students’ skills in identifying problems and giving insightful solution by employing their creativity, prior knowledge and own experiences.
- To nurture students’ ability in presenting findings precisely and communicating their opinion effectively in written and verbal form.
- To ensure smooth implementation of Liberal Studies curriculum in NSS1 and NSS2
