To further cultivate effective teaching and active learning in curriculum development

•  Pre-lesson preparation and online research are required
•  Extra reference notes will be given to students for self-reading
• Press cuttings from South China Morning Post concerning business issues

will be collected by students

•  Presentation sessions will be held to share the news with the whole class

To well implement NSS curriculum and get good achievements in double cohort year

Strategies/ Tasks

•  To provide more enhanced or difficult exercises for high achievers
•  To encourage high achievers to write more essays during holiday
•  To emphasize the “core” curriculum to low achievers
•  To encourage low achievers to write more essays in order to practice their essay writing skills

  and learn the organization and structure of good essays

To enrich EMI environment

Strategies/ Tasks

•  To collect press cuttings from South China Morning Post concerning issues related to business.
•  To hold presentation sessions to share the news with the whole class.
•  To further enhance students’ essay writing skills by practicing questions with different question     words. More lessons will be arranged to teach writing skills.

To promote sunshine and caring school ethos and instill positive, energetic and dynamic school
atmosphere

Strategies/ Tasks

•  To give meaningful and positive feedback to students after quizzes and homework

  assignment.

•  To give appreciation to students for encouragement them. 

Assignment Polices

• Notes/ worksheet portfolio
• Students should keep all the class exercise, worksheets and notes in a portfolio in order to keep track of the learning process.

• Business Exercise Book
• The exercise will focus on essay writing, short questions, long questions and case studies.

• HKALE Past paper
• The exercise will focus on the practice of HKALE past papers.

• Business Newspaper Cutting
• Students are asked to do newspaper cuttings on each related topic. The content should be related to the business news.

• Group Project

Students should complete one group project in each term.
