1. To promote academic excellence by learning and teaching
To further finetune the teaching and training packages (e.g. assignment package) according to the level of difficulties (high, medium and low)
To include bonus points in assignment and assessment for high achieving students
To teach one more elective in DSE biology
To design proper groupings during lesson activities according to their learning ability
To support different groups with differentiating materials for lesson activities
To conduct additional classes after school for senior form students
High achieving students can focus more on challenging questions, while low achieving students can focus more on drilling basic concepts
High achieving students can have more exposure to challenging questions
Students attempt DSE biology as another elective
More students, especially low achieving students, engage in lesson activities.
2. To promote non-academic excellence and sense of belonging among biology students
To develop a biology research team to participate in different competitions and activities
To increase students’ understanding and awareness of biology invention or finding through school competitions/ activities (mainly for junior form students)
Team members participate actively in external competitions and activities
Students have more understanding of different plant species in our school.
