本 校圖書館領袖生於十一月十日在香港維多利亞公園參加渣打書節2007活動。我們將閱讀活動由校園移至戶外，在藍天白雲，青青大地上一起分享閱讀的樂趣。同學參與不同的工作坊及攤位，和年青作家分享閱讀心得，天馬行空地創作故事；又與本地的繪本作家聯手製作一本屬於自己的圖書。

此外，本校更獲得主辦單位的邀請，同學有機會與立法會議員吳靄儀小姐對話，漫遊金庸的武俠小說世界，討論金庸筆下的女子，探討書中女角的內心世界，以及彼此分享對不同角色的喜惡。

透過這次活動，同學能夠輕鬆地學習，體會閱讀的樂趣。

Our student librarians participated in the Standard Chartered Bank Book Festival 2007 at the Hong Kong Victoria Park on 10 November. They were given chances to enjoy reading in open space under the blue sky, as well as to visit different workshops, book exhibitions and booths where their creativity was demonstrated and valuable reading experience was gained.

The participants were also invited to join a sharing session with Legco member Ms Margaret Ng Ngoi Yee. Ms Ng and our students talked about the female characters in the novels written by Mr. Jin Yong. Our students were very eager to express their opinions and feeling towards the writings during the discussion.

Through taking part in this activity, our students were able to learn a lot of reading skills in a relaxing and funny way. It was indeed a happy and fruitful event for them.
