為進一步鼓勵同學多從閱讀中學習，本校邀請了香港著名專欄作家及傳媒工作者陶傑先生，於十二月十二日到校為中四至中七同學主持作家分享講座。陶傑先生當天與同學分享他的寫作心得，指引同學如何從日常生活中觀察入微，尋找寫作靈感；又勉勵同學要放眼世界，廣闊視野，培養獨立思考能力。講座末段的問答部分，同學反應熱烈，踴躍提問；同學於會後更向陶傑先生索取簽名及拍照留念。

In
order to promote reading culture and stimulate students’ interest in
reading, Mr. Tao Jie, was invited to hold a sharing session for our
F.4 to F.7 students on 12 December. Mr. Tao shared his experience and
writing skills with us. He also encouraged us to open up our mind in
order to enhance our thinking and analytical skills. The last part of
the talk was a question-and-answer session, in which students were very
eager to ask the speaker questions. They also took pictures and asked
the author to autograph their books after the talk.
