To know more about the living habitats of Chinese White Dolphins in Hong Kong, the College has organized a Dolphin study tour trip to Lung Ku Tan, Tuen Mun. Some parents also accompanied us in the trip.
Though weather was cloudy on that day, but according to the tour guide, cloudy weather is more suitable for dolphin watching. We indeed saw quite a number of dolphins, and whenever a dolphin came near to the ship, students were overwhelmed with excitement.
According to the guide, sea pollution and reclamation in recent years have threaten the living habitats of Chinese White Dolphins, and the number of Chinese White Dolphins in Hong Kong have been decreasing over years.
After the tour, students have to write a report on what they have seen and learnt in the tour.
